Why the"The 40 Year Plan"?​

I chose to further my education and pursue my basketball dreams at Harvard University not looking at this decision through the lens of a 4 year commitment, instead, I made this decision with the next 40 years in mind. Did I have my next 40 years mapped out at 17 years old? Absolutely not. Rather, I valued my parents preaching of education first and I understood the value of preparing for life beyond basketball. I wanted to take advantage of this ball and the opportunities it would grant me, not let it take advantage of me. This is the philosophy of this program, teaching the game at a high level on the court, and mentoring and developing young people, preparing them for life off the court.​​
